The Fort Street brewhouse is run by Brewmaster Doug Beedy. Doug is a native of Sault Ste. Marie, MI and a graduate of Michigan State University. He received his brewers training at the prestigious Siebel Institute of Technology in Chicago and has worked at more than a dozen breweries in Michigan and Ohio.
Doug currently lives in Lincoln Park with his lovely wife, Tracy.
Tours of the Fort Street Brewery are available weekday afternoons, evenings and Saturdays. Just ask, or call or e-mail ahead of time.
